Il permet de connecter des appareils sans fil à une distance maximale de 100 m, avec une consommation d'énergie minimale. L'adaptateur Bluetooth-USB prend en charge les spécifications Bluetooth v2.1 ainsi que la technologie Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) pour les vitesses de transfert supérieures à 3 Mb/s. Le format compact de l'adaptateur le rend portable et non encombrant lorsqu'il est branché à un ordinateur.
